Breast cancer, which forms in the cells of the breasts, is the 2nd most common cancer diagnosed in women in the US. Even with lots of support for breast cancer awareness and treatment, we are still not close to completely eradicating breast cancer.
This is why clinical trials are exploring the possibility of using stem cells to tackle it.
